There's an unusual gravestone in the churchyard of St Mary, Chipping Norton. The gravestone is in memory of Phillis Humphreys, who died at the age of 58 in 1763. The engraving text translated, states this;

'Rat catcher who has lodged in many a town and travelled far and near

By age and death she struck down to her last lodging here'
