This photograph was taken in Fleet Air Arm Station at Yelverton, Somerset in 1987. The lady in the photograph is a Mrs Sayer and one of her female friends took the photo. This actual helicopter had been used in the Falklands war but it is unknown if anyone died who would have used it.
Mrs. Sayer stated that there was no one sitting in there with her and she did feel very cold when seated within cockpit and that it had been a very warm day. Also, other photos that her other friends took of her seated in the cockpit never came out, so you have the coldness Mrs Sayer experienced and all but one camera not able to function correctly. You can see the image of someone in a white shirt and can make out a head with darker hair- a very interesting image.
